Downpour

We spent Labor Day weekend in Big Bear. None of us could believe it had been 3 years since we were up there. Pathetic! Such is our busy schedule though. We got caught in a few downpours. This one was the worst. I didn't mind since the temp. had been well over 100 degrees for days. We had tried to wait it out but it had been about 1/2 already and the kids were getting restless. Terry was on his way back to get the car when I took this picture.

Happy Birthday Little Dude!

I'm a little behind. Charlie turned 2 on the 16th. His favorite things right now are his beloved CARS. He carries them everywhere and his collection has been growing so I had to buy him a little bucket to carry them in. He likes DVD's. In his rotation are CARS (of course) Nemo & Curious George. He went through a Dumbo and Bambi phase for a little while too. He loves to play outside, climb on stuff or out of stuff (the crib comes down this weekend) and animals. The ZOO was a big hit with him. He spotted the animals faster than the rest of us. We love you little dude.

Sarah was picked for the All-Star team (again) this year. This drags, I mean extends our season a little longer. Her team won their division, so we are not done yet, Yeah. These pictures were taken on Friday night.

Summer Vacation

We spent our summer vacation in San Diego this year. I love this city, there is so much to do and I love the weather. We took the kids to the zoo and Sea World. We also walked along the marina in downtown, visited Old Towne San Diego, played at the beach, the pools, and took long bike rides along the bay. It was great fun.

When Mommy went out to run errands last Saturday, Daddy snuck Charlie out to get his haircut. I don't like it, he looks too old. I do think he resembles Patrick though with the blonde hair and big eyes.

Memorial Weekend in Laguna

Happy Mother's Day to All!

My family spoiled me with coffee and breakfast in bed. Then they showered me with gifts. Sadie made me cookbook filled with the favorite recipes of the kids in her class. Sarah made me a scrapbook with all of the kids pictures telling me how much they love me. Terry had all of the kids give me a spa day at a salon in town. I'm a lucky mama - but I knew that already! I hope every mom I know was spoiled too.
