What the?

What is the deal with these shoes (termed used loosely)? I see them everywhere! Okay I get it if these fit in your profession - supposedly they are comfortable i.e.: nurse, surgeon, GARDNER, but in normal day wear? I just don't get it.

I have to laugh - Carl has two pair! He says they are great for the pool deck - but he wears them all the time.

I'm not a real fan either.
People like them cause they are comfortable.

Funny you should mention these today. I also have seen them all over the place and for a wide varity of prices. While in Cedar Rapids today with a friend, I tried on a pair to see what all this 'comfortble' talk was about. I did not think they were comfortable at all! Very clunky feeling & felt like they were way to wide to stay on my feet. Oh well, must be for the young.

We saw them EVERYWHERE in Yellowstone - we seriously thought we had missed a giveaway or something. I do not recall wearing the jellies - but I think Mandy was the Queen of them. I did have PLENTY O' 80's fashion faux pas' though!

I had Jellies, baby pink and clear. I think they permanently cut off circulation in my baby toes and the plastic created a lovely blister every time I wore them. But they were so practicalI could go from the pool, to church. Now that is an all around shoe!
