Sadie made her 1st communion yesterday. It was very exciting and she was so beautiful. Mom and Dad hosted a little BBQ afterwards. The kids tried to get in the pool but itwas too cold. We also celebrated Dad's Birthday!

Congratulations Sadie. David made his 1st communion 60 years after Dad had made his. I just remember thinking, wow, our family has been doing this forever. I felt a keen connecting to all the Oberts and Cushings through the centuries. Thanks for the pictures - you have a lovely girl there.
